However, as the price is the one small and only drawback, this high quality lighted leather cover appeals to most everyone.

Kindle Leather Cover – Updated Design
Approximately 20 dollars cheaper, this one is catching up to the above cover as the hottest cover. The reason for this is both the price and the newly redesigned insertion tabs that hold the Kindle in place. There has been some complaints with the previous cover that it affects the electronics somehow, but since Amazon hasn’t pulled it, it may be limited to just a series of bad Kindles.
The downside with this would be that there is no external light source, but as long as there is a lamp by your bed, or any type of light source, you’ll be able to read just fine with the e-ink technology (reads like a book – read our homepage to get more details on the Kindle).

iPearl mCover Leather Cover
The iPearl cover is still yet cheaper, and has vinyl tabs in the corners which secure the Kindle in place. It also comes with a pocket that you can store cash, paper, or whatever you need. The only drawback is it is currently only available in one color.
Overall, this cover gets an A for it’s price and quality. An attractive offer for those of you on a budget, but still want something nice.

Unique Kindle Covers – Verso Cities
For those of you who want an authentic aesthetically pleasing Kindle cover, this is it. Deeply embossed cursive writing on this leather cover gives this a worldly look that is both pleasing to the touch, and pleasing to the eye.
The cover itself doesn’t favor the open or close position, which is great for those of you who want a small foot print. The only negative would be it is a bit pricier, but yet still not expensive if you are looking for a quality leather cover. It is both unique to catch someone else’s eye at the cafe or on the plane, and also pleasing to the user in the long run.

The Marware Eco-Vue Kindle Touch cover is a great cover for the Touch. The eco(system) friendly leather is made with a stricter adherence to the treating of the leather.
Some people have complained about the price, but when you pay for higher environmental standards, it costs a bit more, but it is worth it in our opinion. With three different colors, and a back pocket, it works for a lot of people.

Another great edition to the Kindle Touch covers. While there are no reviews out on this product, that is because it is getting released in a week.

By far the most popular Kindle Fire covers are both the graphite and the leather Marware covers. If you like the feel of leather, you have 4 different colors to choose from – black, brown, green, and pink. If you want the polycarbonate cover, you can choose from – black, graphite, pink, and white. It not only secures and protects your Kindle, but has a nice stand that makes it easy to use.

My Opinion on Kindle Covers
Still trying to figure out whether getting a cover is worth the money? Well, it is debatable, because you are are spending anywhere from $20-$60 for a device that costs $80-$200. However, you are also buying it for the styling affect. If you plan on putting your device in your backpack, laptop case, or purse, and you don’t have some type of protection, you could just get minor scratches. I’m not sure about other people, but even when there is a scratch on my TV or computer screen, it is really annoying. For this reason alone, I recommend getting one.
You also have the option of buying cheap Kindle covers, and not just the nice leather ones that come with a light. For people who don’t see the value in a quality case, but just want something that prevents their device from breaking, grab a cheaper Kindle sleeve for around $10. You don’t have to buy the best Kindle cover in existence to be a happy consumer with your Kindle.
Another point to consider with Amazon kindle covers is whether or not to buy the one Amazon provides or a 3rd party. There are tons of kindle covers and cases offered by a lot of other companies. However, not all of them draw power from the Kindle in order to use a Kindle cover with light. I recommend shopping around to see what options are there, outside of just our favorites listed here.
The last point to consider is whether to buy a Kindle lighted cover – to see in the dark (not for the fire) or a Kindle leather cover – for water-proofing. These are more or less questions you have decide based on your usage of the Kindle. Will you be by water a lot? Do you frequently drink open drinks(non bottles)? Do you have a significant other that doesn’t like the lamp on? These are the types of questions you should be asking yourself prior to buying a Kindle cover to make sure you get one that you will be happy with.
